Arrival in Dushanbe. Meeting and welcoming the guests in airport. Transfer to hotel. Evening walks across Dushanbe. B/L/D.

Dushanbe. Visit to Gurminj Museum of traditional musical instruments and Museum of Antiquities. Excursion to Hissar Fortress, the Kohna Madrassah museum and nearby Seminary. Lunch at a local restaurant in Hissar. Driving back to Dushanbe. Overnight in Hotel in Dushanbe. B/L/D.

Departure to the Pamirs via Tawildara and Khaburabad pass (3252 m) or via Kulyab region. When we pass over Khaburabad to Kalaikhum the scenery and the people change again. The people here are Pamiris with their own languages. Kalaikhum is located on the Panj River, a major tributary of the famous Amu Darya (Oxus) River. Accommodation in a private guesthouse. In Kalaikhum. B/L/D.

Leaving Kalai Khum in the morning and in Rushan takinf detour from Pamir Highway (M41) to adventurous road in the Bartang valley to Bardara village. In the evening arriving in Bardara in another side valley. Sightseeing in the village, seeing amazing holy trees, the Ismail prayer house and the mysterious “village fridge”. Accommodation in home stay. B/L/D.

Day 5. Start of the Trek. Station in «Miyonail». Accommodation in tents. (Luggage on animal-drawn transport).

Walking tour to «Uchkul (means three Lakes This day we will go through the pass with glacier and enjoy the Glacier with the mountains that is fascinating. Laying tents by the pasture where the Pasture man called Zaurbek is living. We will try the yogurt which is made in the pasture. . Accommodation in tents.

From here we will descent through the Valley along the strem to Irkht where the Lake Sarez takes it one source of water. Having shower and resting. Stay overnight in tent or in house (whatever the guests wish).

Descending from the Lake to Barchidev village (Bartang valley) through the stream goes from Sarez. Barchidev is the first village after Sarez Lake. Arrival in Barchidev, resting. Overnight in Homestay.

Drive to Ghudara. On the way visiting the fortress and shrines in Savnob village. Meeting people. Arrival in Ghudara village. Dinner with the cultural show, Resting. Overnight in Homestay.

Driving from Ghudara to Blankaik , Aktash then to Jalang to Karakul. This day the rout goes through the wild pasture and possibly to see Marko Polo sheep and/or Ibexes. Arrival in Karakul lake. Sightseeing around the lake. Overnight in Home stay.

Drving from Karakul to Murgab. Arrival in Murgab. Visiting Yak House, sightseeing. After lunch driving to Modiyon Hot spring. Sweeming in Hot spring and Driving back to Murgab. Overnight in Guesthouse.

Drive from Langar to Ishkahsim district center through the Wakhan Corridor. Once having reached Wakhan corridor, we will proceed very slowly, as there are historical traces (caves, castles, holy places, museums and a stupa) on virtually every footsteps. From some places we have spectacular views on the Hindukush peaks. We will visit the one of the most famous hot springs of Tajikistan, the emerald-green Bibi Fatima Hor spring, which is at the same time a holy place and said to increase female fertility. Moreover we will visit the Yamchun and Kahkaha fortresses and shrines/mazzaars on the road. Arrival in Ishkashim. Overnight in Guesthouse.

Ishkashim – Khorog. Continuing our road to the lively provincial capital Khorog. In case it is a saturday, visit on Afghan bazaar. Arrival in Khorog. Visiting Central Park, Botanical Garden, museums and furthermore visiting the handicraft shop to buy some handicrafts from local artisans for memory from the Pamirs and Tajikistan. Overnight in Homestay.
